Drivin will be showcasing its solutions at the Expo Antad & Alimentaria, to be held in March 16-18th in Guadalajara, Mexico. This is the most important retail summit in Latin America, and Drivin will discuss its route optimization solutions with key decision makers and international experts.

The Drivin stand is located at one of the largest and most promising venues in the world, with a 55,000 m2 business floor. This is an important scenario to showcase optimization software, tracking and analytics solutions for the supply chain industry in terms of route management. Drivin will engage with key actors from the international retail industry, network with the largest pool of retail companies of the region, and listen to the current challenges and trends of the Mexican market.

Capgemini’s 2015 18th Annual Third-party Logistics Stud regards Mexico as a rising world manufacturing and logistics hub. “Mexico has more free-trade agreements than any other country, a strategic geographic location, and is renowned as a low-cost manufacturing and export destination”, the study says. Moreover, 40% of the study respondents -55% from the United States and 36% from China- said they have already moved some of their operations to Mexico, due to their reduced freight transport time and closer proximity to sources.

This encounter represents one of the largest and most competitive markets in Latin America. The National Association of department and convenience stores (ANTAD) represents 5.428 convenience stores, 2.055 department stores and 39.183 specialized trade outlets in México.

In terms of logistics, ANTAD wants to “establish solutions that can generate efficiency in business process throughout the supply chain, through knowledge, analysis and application of best practices, strategies and modern tools”.

We are using this encounter to share your own questions, concerns and feedback in this important venue. The program includes conferences on marketing and innovation, food management technologies, sustainability, Omni-channel trade and e-commerce.
